Purpose & What We Did
We were appointed by the landlord to manage the lease renewal process for Betfred, a betting shop located on Uxbridge Road, London. The objective was to negotiate terms that were beneficial for both the landlord and the tenant, ensuring a smooth transition and continued tenancy.
We began by conducting a thorough review of the existing lease agreement and current market conditions on Uxbridge Road, including analysing comparable rental rates.
We documented all discussions and proposed terms, maintaining a clear record of agreements and pending issues.
Outcome
The lease renewal process concluded successfully with a new agreement that satisfied both the landlord and tenant. The key outcomes included Rent Adjustment; the rent was adjusted to reflect current market conditions, ensuring a fair rate for both parties.
The successful resolution of all issues through mutual agreement underscored the effectiveness of our approach. Both the landlord and Betfred expressed satisfaction with the process and the final terms, highlighting the value of professional mediation in lease renewals.
